Your ‘Why Chicago’ Video: Are You the Next Robert Scoble?

November 4, 2008

Robert Scoble is to online videos as Ben and Jerry are to ice cream.  A self-proclaimed ‘tech geek’, Robert’s been on the scene, filming over 1,000 video interviews with the who’s who of business, tech startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.  Robert’s contributing his video prowess to the team at Fast Company TV.

I had a chance to meet Robert in person at this years Consumer Electronics Show.  Always a leader in new gadgets, Scoble used his Nokia N95 camera and live-streamed our conversation. With the help of Qik’s technology, viewers watched our chat and commented along the way.  Robert also interviewed my fellow CES goers, Google and AlphaZeta.

Scoble’s become a fixture in the tech world - all because of his relentless production of videos.  Take a moment to review some of Robert’s work and submit your OWN video for the Why Chicago video contest.

Here’s an idea: If you work at Motorola, Orbitz or Navigant (all Chicago based tech companies), tell us why you like working there. You can also tell us how your company’s technology will help with the Chicago 2016 Olympic & Parlympic Games.

It was nice meeting you, Robert!
