Chicago 2016: Taking It to the Schools
Calling All Students, Teachers, Principals and Support Staff!

The Chicago 2016 Channel will be kicking off the Why Chicago campaign to all local Chicagoland schools that would like their opportunity to help with the Chicago 2016 bid.

With the next Olympic athletes in our midst, it’s only natural for students of any age to have the opportunity to participate in a project that celebrates the Olympic spirit all year long.  The Channel will provide an easy solution for schools to upload their own videos directly to the Chicago 2016 Channel blog without even leaving their classrooms!

In the next few weeks, we will be posting a simple how-to guide for teachers and students to review and begin producing their Why Chicago videos. In addition to the video submissions, students will have the ability to talk to each other, share Olympic ideas and chat about their favorite sports all via a new collaborative forum, courtesy of our friends at Amazee.

This new communication channel will also open doors for students to befriend others in not only their own school, but schools across Chicago.
